In April of this year, we launched a completely new version of ServeManager. The new version has a new interface, additional features, and more benefits than ever before. If you're on the fence about giving the new version a try, here are 12 reasons to try the new ServeManager:
1. All-in-one Solution
ServeManager is an all-in-one solution that allows you to manage the important components of your business from one interface and gives you an instant snapshot of what’s happening with your jobs.
Users can generate a number of state-specific affidavits (including the full suite of California affidavits). We’re adding new affidavits upon request. ServeManager’s accounting features enable you to generate invoices and statements and also track your outstanding balances.
2. Accessible from anywhere
Whether you’re at the office on your PC, on the road on your smartphone, or winding down on the couch with your iPad, ServeManager and your company data is accessible. As a SaaS (software as a service) cloud-based solution you can manage your business from any Internet-connected device.
3. Collaboration and Sharing
ServeManager was engineered to allow you to communicate with clients, employees, and process servers (including forwarding companies) that need to be looped in on a particular job. ServeManager gives you stringent control over who can see certain jobs and details associated with those jobs.
And, you can set up free accounts for your clients.
4. Compliance and Accountability
At the Spring NARCA (National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys) Conference, a panel discussed vendor compliance. The majority of that conversation focused on process servers.
Among the items discussed were:
- "What are process servers doing to keep our data safe?"
- Off- and on-site audits for process servers
- Updates via mobile devices
- Making the audit process and results transparent
While what compliance “looks like” is to be determined, standards are imminent. Most of what is being discussed is based on technology or touches technology in some way. Unless you are a large company with significant technology resources, compliance will be difficult. Therefore, it’s important to work with a technology partner who is paying attention to these things. In addition to adhering to the New York City DCA rules for service, ServeManager captures GPS and timestamp data for attempts.
5. Mobile
With ServeManager we took a unique approach to mobile. In an effort to support as many devices as possible and to get updates out quickly, we have created a mobile site that behaves the same way a native iOS or Android app would. This also means you don’t have to continuously download new versions. We’re currently seeing about 25% of all attempts with GPS records attached to them, so the importance of being able to support mobile easily and quickly is growing by the day.
6. Backed by the ServeNow Team
At ServeNow, we are going on 10 years of serving the process serving community. Over that time, we’ve continued to find ways to add value to our clients. Nothing makes us happier than to hear how much we’ve helped grow or improve a client business.
ServeManager provides another opportunity for us to help our customers. And, we love working on this product - we love building, selling and supporting our software.
7. Customer Service
We pride ourselves on customer service. Our customers can reach us by phone and email during our support hours - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday Mountain Standard Time. Typically, we are available earlier and much later than that as well. We do our very best to answer your questions on the weekends and after hours. In the rare case of an emergency, we make sure that issues are addressed outside of our normal support hours.

8. This is an investment, Not a Cost.
We want our users to consider ServeManager an investment in their business rather than an expense. If your software is not saving you time and money and it’s not making your business run more efficiently, then it’s not doing it’s job.
We price ServeManager in a way that makes it a no-brainer. It’s important to think about what your time is worth in conjunction with the amount of time that it can save you. If ServeManager can save you just 15 minutes per job - on client communication, affidavit generation, invoicing, etc - and you have 50 jobs per month, that’s 12.5 hours of savings. If you value your time at a conservative $50 per hour, that’s a saving of $625 for a very small process serving business.
Imagine how important it is to have a software system as your business grows, so you can scale without having to take on the costs of administrative staff to perform these functions.
9. We’re Always Getting Better.
ServeManager is in a state of constant development and improvement. We take the feature requests we get from our customers very seriously. We have a team of developers that are primarily dedicated to the ServeManager product. Our goal is to make this the best product on the market for businesses of all sizes.

10. It’s easy to use!
We'll spend two hours debating the placement of a button. We want it to be right.
Chad Jolly, ServeManager Developer
One consistent piece of feedback we get is ServeManager’s ease of use.
In a recent interview, our lead developer, Chad Jolly said, “We will spend two hours debating the placement of a button. We want it to be right.”
With ServeManager, you don’t have to be an IT professional to use the software. You don’t have to worry about hardware, servers, back-ups, upgrades or installations. You can be up and running in 30 seconds after sign-up.
We believe that software shouldn’t require a manual to get started.
11. Our Customers Love ServeManager. You will too.
