Prosecutor Accused of Hiding From Process Server

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- Outgoing prosecutor, Chief Assistant District Attorney Paul Sequeira, allegedly ran and hid from process servers trying to serve him documents in a rape case. Sequeira is also accused of taking part in a violent altercation. Process server and private investigator Mark Harrison was trying to serve Sequeira with documents related to Deputy District Attorney Michael Gressett's rape case. Sequeira allegedly recognized Harrison and ran back into the building to hide. He emerged after two hours and allegedly ran back inside when he saw Harrison was still there. When Sequeira emerged for the third time, he was served by Harrison. Sequeira allegedly then became belligerent and the two men scuffled. Police were called to the scene but no arrests were made.
