JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Councilman John Crescimbeni is asking why a company charged with serving civil suit documents for the area is being offered a $1.3 million contract with no requests for bids – especially since some have raised concerns about the company. The company has submitted pages of legal papers in which the names of process servers remain the same while signatures are different, raising concerns about fake signatures on affidavits of service. The sheriff has stated that his office investigated the allegations and could find no proof in the case.
